In November 2021, skyliner from Hennef was present at two industry events. In mid-November in Berlin as an exhibitor at the „Future of Festivals“ (FOF) and one week earlier as an event partner and sponsor of „Raumwelten“ in Ludwigsburg. FOF sees itself as a platform for more than 1,200 festivals in Germany and its neighbouring countries. Raumwelten sees itself as a platform for scenography, architecture and media. It took place for the tenth time in 2021, but for the first time in the Karlskaserne art centre.
The FOF took place in the Arena Berlin with 140 speakers and 150 exhibitors to promote an exchange between the festival and live industry and make it possible in a concentrated way. The FOF sees itself as a trade fair, congress and campus. FOF co-initiator Robert Stolt calls it „the industry meeting“ for organisers, service providers, associations, decision-makers and trainees from the festival and live sector. The new dates for 2022 have already been set for November 25th and 26th 22. Felix Lenz, founder and managing director of skyliner, immediately re-registered his company. The mood among the approx. 2000 trade visitors over the two days as well as among the exhibitors was consistently positive. The new format was more than accepted. Great respect was also shown to the organizers. After several postponements, the FOF was finally able to take place in compliance with the 2G+ rules, which were already in force during the set-up phase.
Raumwelten describes itself as the leading industry event for communication in space in Germany and at the same time offers a platform for networking and talent scouting. The annual event focuses on innovative, socially and economically relevant topics related to architecture, scenography and digital media. In its tenth edition, the mixture of congress, VR Hub, Raumwelten digital, public event and special events once again offered valuable inspiration and impulses for the industry as well as the general public. The motto this year: „Space for coincidences“.
With a 10-metre canopy in the Apell Hof and its own stand in the exhibition area, skyliner was present in Ludwigsburg. The result was a two-dimensional experience, with the original outside and large-scale prints inside. Skyliner founder and owner Felix Lenz was enthusiastic about the quality of the visitors as well as the congress programme and was able to make interesting new contacts. After a successful business year in an extremely difficult Corona environment, he and his team are confident about the numerous enquiries and orders. Numerous new customers with new projects also await skyliner in 2022.
