LED Expo is the biggest platform showcasing the entire value chain of lighting products and components in India. The show that was previously planned to take place from September 2020 has been cancelled in adherence to the advisory measures that are still in place by the Indian government. The show will now open its doors from 6 – 8 May 2021 in hall 4 at Bombay Exhibition Center Mumbai.
The magnitude and significance of LED Expo Mumbai attracts fair-attendees from different parts of India and abroad. Considering the present status, exhibition organisers Messe Frankfurt India Pvt Ltd are still looking for a green signal from the government to restart exhibitions in the country and other vital segments like international travel. A decision taken after close consultation with industry experts was well supported by exhibitors and stakeholders.
As the industry slowly re-opens and gains momentum, LED Expo as a brand is actively contributing in the digital space by organising various knowledge oriented seminars to discuss future guidelines for the lighting segment. The show also organised a one-of-a-kind sourcing webinar in July that connected focussed buyers and sellers on a digital platform resulting in many positive trade enquiries.
LED Expo Mumbai is a part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building Technology fairs headed by the biennial Light + Building event. Messe Frankfurt’s portfolio also includes a series of light and building technology events worldwide – which include Light and LED Expo India, Guangzhou International Lighting Fair and Shanghai International Lighting Fair in China, Thailand Lighting Fair, BIEL Light + Building in Argentina, Interlight Russia as well as Light Middle East in the United Arab Emirates.
The launch edition of Light + LED Expo India will be held from 3 – 5 December 2020 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
